Custom Facebook Feed Pro

Custom Facebook Feed Pro by Smash Balloon is a WordPress plugin that pulls your Facebook content directly onto your website without using an iframe workaround. Instead of sending visitors away to Facebook, you can render your page posts, albums, videos, and even group feeds natively inside WordPress. It’s built for business owners, bloggers, and agencies who want their site to stay fresh with social content but need full control over how that content looks and behaves. The core problem it solves is presentation and reliability. The default Facebook embed is slow, hard to style, and breaks your design. This plugin gives you a feed that matches your theme, loads fast thanks to its own caching system, and lets you decide exactly what shows up — from captions and likes to comments. If you manage a restaurant, salon, gym, or local brand that posts daily on Facebook, it saves you from manually duplicating that content on WordPress. Core Features & Practical Value Display Your Content Your Way You are not stuck with Facebook’s default look. The plugin lets you control the layout, number of posts, columns, header, button styles, and spacing so the feed actually feels like part of your website. For anyone who cares about branding, this means you can keep your fonts and colors consistent instead of having a clashing blue Facebook box in the middle of your homepage. Built-in Post Caching For Speed Instead of pinging Facebook on every page load, the feed caches posts on your server. This keeps your site fast and ensures the feed still displays even if the Facebook API is temporarily slow. It’s a practical benefit for SEO and user experience, especially on mobile where every second of load time matters. Advanced Filtering and Content Control You can filter which posts appear by word or hashtag and choose exactly which parts of a post to show or hide — like author name, text, images, likes, comments, and share buttons. If you run a page that posts a lot but only want to show posts containing #menu or #offer, you can set that in seconds without editing code. Multiple Feeds and Facebook Groups Support You are not limited to one feed. You can create several feeds from different pages or groups and place them on different pages or widget areas. This is extremely useful for agencies managing multi-location businesses or communities that want to showcase a main brand page plus a private customer group. Full Media Support Including HD, 360 and Live Video The plugin handles more than just text and images. It can display albums, photo sets, and videos including HD, 360-degree, and previously broadcast Facebook Live videos in a lightbox. Visitors can watch the video right on your site instead of being redirected. Responsive and Translation Ready The feeds are fully responsive out of the box, so they adapt cleanly to phones and tablets. It also includes international language support, so dates, translations, and interface strings can be adjusted for local audiences without needing an extra translation plugin for the feed itself.
